Ahmedabad, 17th November 2024 – The 24th National Wushu Kungfu Championship was held at the Multipurpose Sports Club, Bibipura, Ahmedabad, on 17th November 2024. Hosted by the Wushu KungFu Association of Gujarat and organized by the Wushu Kung Fu Federation of India, this prestigious event attracted top talent from across the country. The competition is an integral part of the growing Wushu community in India and is recognized by the International Wushu Federation (IWUF), a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
This year’s Championship saw outstanding performances across various categories, with several athletes bringing home multiple gold medals. Among the notable achievers:

Mudra Nihal Upadhyay, a student of class 2 at Lords International School, has won a gold medal at the International Martial Arts Got Talent event held in Ahmedabad. Mudra performed her best in the event under the guidance of coach Haresh Rawat, mesmerizing the audience and the jury with her confidence.
These victories highlight the rising talent in Wushu Kungfu across India, demonstrating exceptional skills in both Taolu (Patterns) and Sanda (Fighting). The athletes' performances were a testament to their dedication and the effective training provided by their respective coaches.
The event was supported by the Wushu Kung Fu Federation of India and attracted significant attention from sports enthusiasts, officials, and media alike. It also served as a crucial platform for identifying top athletes who will represent India in upcoming international events.
